#No MoreEmptySeats

The goal of The Keri Anne DeMott Foundation is to inspire, educate, and motivate others to make good decisions. Keri's father and foundation founder Bill DeMott spent 28 years in sports entertainment, and now he is ready to bring our message to you - wherever you are. Bill travels across the country speaking to law enforcement, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, colleges, and other community organizations to share Keri's story and make younger generations more aware of how the decisions they make every day can have a significant impact on the lives of those around them. His message is touching and inspiring, and his delivery is powerful, moving, and truly unforgettable.

The cornerstone of the #NoMoreEmptySeats campaign is simple: accountability. Making the right decisions, taking ownership and responsibility for our actions, and using our personal influence to create positive change in our communities starts and ends with us as individuals. Bill reminds every audience that the power and confidence they hold within themselves can and should be used as a force for good- a force that can change the world.

By sharing Keri's story, her mission, and her message with others, we hope to inspire others to make more responsible decisions, to put others first, to be a good friend, and to create a more positive and loving world like Keri had imagined doing herself. We also hope to motivate our audiences to join us in our fight to create a world where innocent people will no longer have to suffer from things that can be prevented by simply making the right decision. A world where there are no more empty seats.

What We Talk About

What We Talk About

What We Talk About

While we have been affected by drunk, impaired, and distracted driving, that is not the only thing we talk about- especially when we address younger generations. There are so many areas of life where we can impact our future or someone else's just by making a decision that may seem "innocent" or "harmless" at the time. Bill uses his experience as a father, a husband, a businessman, and a sports entertainer to address relevant issues such as:

  • Bullying
  • Cyber Bullying
  • Suicide
  • Texting/Sexting
  • Social Media Influence
  • Drunk/Impaired/Distracted Driving
